How to get there...

Amorgos has a ferry service from Piraeus and Rafina (Athens). Flying dolfins, catamarans and local inter-Cycladic boats connect Amorgos to the rest of the Cycladew islands. The airports of Naxos, Myconos, Santorini and Astipalea minimize the boat trip to Amorgos. There daily connection to Naxos, by "Skopelitis" boat.

When you get there...

Although even in the near past the donkeys were the main means of transportation, today, things have improved. There is a new asphalt road connecting the whole island from one end to the other, giving the visitors the opportunity to see the stunning beauties of Amorgos. Car and mopet rental, hiring a taxi, public bus service, donkey riding and organized tours are available.
